Lull Telehandlers
Lull telehandlers have been in production ever since 1959. They specialize in load placement. For more accurate placement capabilities, their patented Stabil-Trak stability system provides much more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers offer different optional attachments and these telehandlers can really help you complete all your needs, while being efficient and safe at the worksite. If precision and accuracy are really vital, leave it to a Lull telehandler to accomplish everything you require.
The Future
Numerous attachments have been designed and made in order to make rough terrain forklifts as efficient as possible. Winches, booms and rotating fork carriages allow the forklift to place materials in a more accurate way. The booms or articulating booms come with 2 different extendible arms and are able to reach up and over structures so as to position loads in the upper or center floors or on interior roof slope settings. New products and attachments are being made and engineered all the time and will be available in the future.
Lots of improvements have been made with extra safety features becoming more prevalent. For example, load-reach management devices are able to restrict the forklift's reach automatically, based on the load being handled as opposed to depending on the operator. Pressure sensors are utilized to be able to determine the load weight. This information is sent to a tiny electronic memory device which had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
The memory of the boom would compare the angle and the extension of the boom with the safety limits, when the load is being placed into position. There is a warning system or an important lock-up device that prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
