Personnel lifts as the name implies are designed to raise and lower employees to perform tasks at heights. These machinery will usually have lower weight capacities compared to other types of lifts. These lifts are often ringed by safety supports and devices to protect the operators working, as well as those who are working on them. This classification includes boom lifts which specialize in working in high areas like elevated installation and wire repair, and ceiling welding.
