Telescopic lift trucks
Telescopic forklifts offer height and versatility. These units are outfitted with a pronged lift on an arm which extends over the top of the truck. The crane, or arm, is referred to as a telescopic boom. The boom enables the individual utilizing it to lift the cargo to great heights while maintaining a high degree of control. Standard lift trucks aren't able to move the load towards and away from the forklift cab, while a telescopic forklift allows that movement. The telescopic forklift is normally utilized in agriculture and construction. It is recommended for applications where greater lift and control is necessary.
In situations requiring high volume carton handling, hydraulic attachments referred to as forklift carton clamp attachments are better. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings that enable the operator to utilize uniform clamping force when lifting a cargo. It is available with a backrest that protects the loads from damage.
A sleep sheet forklift will often use a slip sheet attachment for storing systems that don't use pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forklift forks. This kind of system is useful for overseas shipments and intra-corporate deliveries.
A man basket is a lift platform meant specially to hoist staff. The basket attaches to the forklift forks, held in with a strap or chain which is to be directly secured to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the staff from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are used for fastening the safety harness of the worker.
