Established in 1920, FM GRU Tower Cranes started as a family company within the Northern Italy's largest industrial place. In the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into a manufacturing and industrial economy, the company was working in the metal structural sector and welded construction industries. FMgru was involved in building bridges for roads, pylons to convey electricity, different kinds of forklifts, presses, farming equipments and prefabrication molds.
During the year 1963, the company began crane production. The company eventually invested all of their human resources and financial resources in this activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest level of specialization in the field of lifting.
Product Line
FMgru presently manufactures and sells 4 different series of tower cranes. These machinery are engineered and designed for a variety of applications and there are available models which could cover all construction requirements.
FMgru has some extremely flexible lifting options for smaller companies working on private houses and other smaller buildings. Self-erecting cranes have 1200 to 4000 kg capacity and provide 22 to 40 meters jib range.
Topless tower cranes are amongst their other models. These cranes have upto 30 to 65 meters jib range and a running capacity of 1800 to 6000 kg. The fast erecting tower cranes are both user friendly and extremely adaptable. They are suitable for minimizing interferences when there are numerous cranes working in the same building site.
Saddle-jib tower cranes offer a jib range of 58 to 80 meters. They have a running capacity of 6000 kg to 12000 kg. There are standard tower cranes which have no over sail restriction and are great for any building or construction project.
Fdr56Luffing-jib cranes by FMgru have a 12000 kg capacity and 50 meter long jibs. These cranes are specially designed to work in tight sites and on high-rise projects where buildings are situated in close proximity to each other.
