Sellick Forklifts Washington
After a long connection with a Ford Tractor dealer, Walter Sellick began to build his very own company by transforming a tractor that was provided by Ford Tractor. He modified it into a 6000 pound lift truck that could be used outdoors. What is presently regarded as the turn-around tractor series consists of a mast and a counterweight design and basic sub-frame.
Heavy duty lifts have changed in both their construction and design. An essential one piece frame concept was introduced to all units of Sellick lift trucks ever since the year 1975. The standard Ford Tractor power train became retrained as the basic power module for most units. The market was for Sellick straight mast rough terrain lift trucks were well established. The state of the art technology together with the new design paved the way to hugely increased sales in the start of the 1980s.
Another new component was added to all machinery during the year 1987. Featured in this series was the Perkins, Continental and Ford engine options that came with shift-on-the-go transmissions. Furthermore, the See Thru roller masts together with the low profile SG Series and the SD series became available in the market. The introduction of the 12,000 pound SD Series during the late 1990s together with the optional fully automatic Power-shift transmission featured the new millennium's technology.
The TMF-55 Truck Mounted Lift Truck was launched during the year 1995. This equipment features 5500 pound capacity. This specific unit is powered by a choice of Perkins or Deutz diesel engine. This particular design greatly maximizes the complete delivery system-trailer, truck and driver and greatly reduces turn-around time to a minimum. The TMF-55 loads itself on the back of a truck or a trailer easily. This design eliminates the need for towing a trailer and saves huge cargo space.
In the year 2002, Sellick Equipment Limited became North America's sole distributer of the JCB Teletruck. This variable reach industrial lift truck helps to fill out the material handling products selection. It provides a unique forward reach and supreme versatility.
In the year 2004, Sellick introduced the S Series of ergonomically friendly lift trucks. These models focused a great deal on operator safety and comfort. The company has launched top of the line forklift design and a new era of production.
